Ulmus glabra "Camperdownii"

Fully hardy deciduous trees which prefer an open sunny position and any ordinary, fertile, well-drained soil. The wych elm is native to the British Isles and can tolerate exposed situations. The form offered here produces a dome-shaped weeping head and makes a lovely small specimen for a lawn. An attractive display of green 'flowers' appears before the dark green foliage emerges which in turn often colours well for the autumn.
