Rosa banksiae

This lovely semi-evergreen rose is the only rose we have as a regular stock item. Whilst adaptable to virtually any well-drained soil except highly acid it will do best trained up against a wall or tree which is in a warm, full sun position. Both foliage and flowers are petite. The blooms appear in late spring/early summer and their delicate scent are a reminder of voilets. 'Alba' has doulbe white flowers and 'Lutea' double yellow.
