Robinia pseudoacacia 'Casque Rouge'

Deciduous tree with lots of thorns on young trees which disappear as the tree matures. Makes a rounded crown with soft green leaves. Pink flowers in May-June which are fragrant. Needs a sheltered position as they are fragile and can break in strong winds.
