Pyrus salicifolia "Pendula"

This elegant tree develops a broad head and many of the main and long thin secondary branches drooping towards the ground. The narrow willow-like foliage is pale grey-green and it emerges at the same time as the small creamy-white flowers. A few ornamental fruits and thorns might develop and the silvery-grey bark of the stems provides some winter interest.
