Prunus subhirtella "Pendula"

Deciduous. Chosen for it's lovely weeping habit. The long main branches initially spread out and then hang down at the ends. In spring pale-pink flowers come from bright-pink buds before the dark-green leaves emerge. The foliage turns yellow and/or red in the autumn before falling. P.s. 'Pendula Rosea' produces bright-pink flowers from crimson buds.
