Prunus "Kanzan"

This vigorous tree or shrub initially develops a vase shape but as it matures it starts to spread out. In mid to late spring double, purplish-pink flowers appear in profusion. The young leaves are bronze-tinted when they emerge, maturing to dark-green and turning yellow-orange in the autumn before falling.
