Pleached trees

Pleached trees trained on cane frameworks are available for instant effect, because there are so many different types we may need to order them in for you but we do usually have a few demonstration 'models' to view at the nursery. In addition to the popular Carpinus betulus (hornbeam) and Tilia (lime) we can quote for a wide range of deciduous materials including Betula jacquemontii, Corylus colurna, Crataegus (hawthorns) and Malus (both dessert and crab apples) Purple & Green Beech,. Evergreen material is not readily available but, for example, we may be able to quote for Eleagnus x ebbingei, Ilex 'Nellie R Stevens', Olea, Ligustrum lucidum, Magnolia grandiflora and Photinia x fraseri 'Red Robin', Prunus lusitanica. 
Varieties such as carpinus, tilia & crap apple are available as bare root & root balled, the others only as potted trees. 
The standard length of stem is 180cm (so you can walk/drive under them) but some varieties are available with shorter or longer clear stems.
