Pinus wallichiana (Himalayan pine)

This elegant pine develops a pyramidal habit. The graceful, silvery/glaucous, soft pendulous needles are a delight to touch! To keep the foliage a good colour, fairly moist, open, chalk-free soil is required and because the wood is fragile the tree needs protection from strong winds.
