Pinus sylvestris (Scots pine)

Native to the British Isles this pine develops a pyramidal habit. Bears blue-green needles, grey cones and its young bark has an attractive reddish hue. Is resistant to wind, heat and drought and prefers well-drained and dry soils which are slightly acidic. It is often used in groups as a windbreak. Natural form trees are available to special order.
