Ligustrum delavayanum (syn L. ionandrum)

The small, glossy, dark-green leaves look almost like those of box, making it a perfect subject for topiary. Relatively fast-growing, it will need trimming regularly to keep it tidy. Requires a sunny, sheltered, position and might behave as a semi-evergreen in colder winters.
