Ficus carica "Brown Turkey" (Fig)

This vigorous, deciduous tree or shrub is best grown against a warm sunny wall in fertile soil. It has handsome, rich green, deeply-lobed leaves. The brown-green fruits develop mainly near the tips of shoots during mid-August to October. We generally offer the variety 'Brown Turkey' which is most suited to the climatic conditions found in much of the U.K. Sometimes other varieties may be available.
