Fagus sylvatica "Dawyck Purple"

This fully hardy deciduous species will do best in a sunny, open position and in any soil which is not too heavy or wet.  
This is considered by many to be the finest of purple beech and it's shiny dark purple leaves will certainly help to make a statement in the larger garden.
