Carpinus betulus

A fully hardy, deciduous tree bearing mid-green leaves which take on fine autumn tints. It will thrive in any ordinary garden soil in sun or partial shade. Carpinus lends itself to shaping and has featured regularly in our exhibits at The Chelsea Flower Show. We can supply it as natural trees, shaped topiary and as bare root hedging during the autumn & winter. We also supply them as ready pleached trees.
